Terms & Conditions – Legacy Licence-Free Edition

(For existing customers of 3D Analyzer Software only)

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Legacy Licence-Free Edition (“the Software”), provided by 3D Analyzer Software Pty Ltd (“the Company”). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to the following:

 

 

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Software is provided exclusively to existing licensed customers of 3D Analyzer Software.
 1.2 The Software is not available to new customers, and redistribution is not permitted.
 1.3 The Software may only be used by the individual or organisation that originally held an active licence prior to the Company’s closure.

 

 

2. Nature of the Software

2.1 The Software is a Legacy Licence-Free Edition, meaning:

  • It does not require licence activation.

  • It does not require subscription renewal.

  • It operates completely offline, with no connection to the Company’s Licence Managers.

2.2 The Software is provided as close to “as is” and represents the final release of the product.

 

 

3. No Support or Updates

3.1 No technical support will be provided for this edition.
 3.2 No updates, fixes, patches, or improvements will be released after distribution.
 3.3 The Company will not respond to requests for troubleshooting, feature changes, or compatibility assistance.

 

 

4. Permitted Use

4.1 You may install and use the Software internally within your business.
4.2 Backups of the installer may be created solely for disaster-recovery purposes.
4.3 You may continue using the Software indefinitely, subject to the limitations below.

 

 

5. Restrictions

You must not:

  • Sell, licence, or distribute the Software to any third party.

  • Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Software.

  • Use the Software to provide a commercial service (e.g., SaaS, bureau services) on behalf of others.

 

 

6. Limited Liability

6.1 The Company provides the Software without any warranties, express or implied, including (but not limited to) fitness for purpose or ongoing compatibility with hardware, operating systems, or third-party software.
 6.2 The Company accepts no liability for data loss, business interruption, or damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
 6.3 Users assume full responsibility for installation, operation, data backup, and long-term maintenance.

 

 

7. Discontinuation of Services

7.1 All online licensing systems (V5 Licence Manager and Subscription Licence Manager) will be permanently shut down on 1 February 2026.
 7.2 Download availability for the Software will remain accessible on the Company website for 12 months from the release date.
 7.3 After this period, the Company may remove all download links and infrastructure.

 

 

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All intellectual property rights in the Software remain the property of 3D Analyzer Software Pty Ltd.
 8.2 This agreement grants only a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use, not ownership.

 

 

9. Termination

9.1 These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Software.
9.2 Your right to use the Software terminates automatically if you breach these Terms, including redistributing or reselling the Software.

 

 

10. Acceptance

By installing or using the Legacy Licence-Free Edition, you acknowledge and accept these Terms in full.
